The original building of the BASIS International School Prague is a beautiful villa from the end of the 19th century that belonged to the director of the Podolí Cement Factory. The building, which has been used for school purposes for more than 70 years, is now undergoing sensitive reconstruction to preserve its historical value and meet the most modern needs of today's education at the same time. The villa is surrounded by a garden, where another pavilion for teaching purposes is planned to be built. The garden has an outdoor sports ground area and the entire functional area is connected to a large fenced forest.
The school is easily accessible from the center of Prague, but it is also well connected to the outskirts of southern Prague. The quiet surroundings of the school offer a wide range of extracurricular activities, especially sports. Students can enjoy activities at the nearby spa resort (Žluté lázně), swimming pool, tennis courts, soccer fields and more.
