Admission Details
2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR
For the current school year we are accepting students into our Preschool (ages 2-5), and Elementary & Middle School into Levels 1-5 (ages 5-10). Enrollment is open all year round.
For the upcoming school year 2025-2026 we are also accepting students into Level 6 (ages 10-11).

We accept children to our preschool throughout the entire year.
The children are divided into 3 different classrooms based on their age: Shrimp Class (Age: 2-3), Goldfish Class (Age: 3-4); and
Sea Turtles Class (Age:4-5)
The entire program at BASIS Prague Preschool is in English. When enrolling, children do not need to have any knowledge of the English language.
In addition to native speakers, we also have staff that speaks Czech to provide support when necessary.

ELEMENTARY & MIDDLE SCHOOL
Campus: Praha 4, Podolí
Ages: 5-10
Levels: 1-5
We are currently accepting students into Levels 1-5.
For the 2025/2026 school year we will be accepting children into Levels 1-6.
Our students start school at the age of 5. We perceive that it is important to support children‘s natural curiosity and talent and to awaken a love of learning at an early age.
The entire program at BASIS Prague is in English.
To be admitted into Levels 1 and 2 children do not need to have any knowledge of the English.
It is possible to enroll students into higher Levels throughout the entire school year.
The acceptance of students is handled individually.
From September 2026, the Middle School (Levels 5–6) will be situated in our new campus in Prague 6, Bubeneč.

MIDDLE & HIGH SCHOOL
Campus: Praha 6, Podolí
Ages: 9-19
Levels: 5-14
This campus will open its doors in the 2026/2027 school year.
The Middle & High School will be located at the new campus in Prague 6, Bubeneč. This campus is currently being established to create a modern learning environment that will provide students with a space for their further development in various professional areas and for their future direction.
Admission to the Middle School is based on individual knowledge. BASIS Prague Elementary students transfer to Middle School and High School without entrance exams, while new students must take entrance exams.
Graduating from BASIS Prague High School and passing the school and international final exams opens the opportunity to students to study at universities in the Czech Republic, USA, UK and elsewhere abroad. High school graduation is also completed by the state-recognized exam.
